How do fees work on Boat Part Plus?

Joining and opening a store on Boat Part Plus has three options that you can choose from for listing items. Unlike other sites, Boat Part Plus does not take a percentage of sale. You keep 100% of your sales. The three packages are a classified listing fee, the basic package, or the premium package.

Classified Listing:

It costs $0.99 to publish a classified listing to the marketplace. This listing will last for 4 months or until the item is sold. Once an item sells, you will collect full payment without forfeiting a commission from the hosting site, Boat Part Plus.

The Basic Package:

The Basic Package is a monthly subscription that can be cancelled at any time. It costs $9.99/month, which allows you to have 20 items listed at a time. This option is perfect for the avid boater, that has a consistent stream of parts for sale.

The Premium Package:

The Premium Package is a monthly subscription that can be cancelled at any time. It costs $19.99/month, which allows you unlimited listings. Like the classified listings and basic package, store owners will collect 100% of the sale price.

What can I sell on Boat Part Plus?

Boat Part Plus is a community for boating enthusiasts to connect with other like individuals, while also providing a marketplace to sell new and used marine and boat parts.

What do I need to open a store?

Setting up a store on Boat Part Plus is simple. The following steps allow you to create an account on our site; Select the membership package you prefer, set the location and name of your store, choose the currency in which you will accept, set up your payment gateway/billing information (Boat Part Plus uses PayPal). Once you have completed these steps you are ready to start selling.

How do I get paid?

With PayPal, you can better manage and move money, while still having the flexibility to accept all major credit card brands when sending or receiving payments.

How does Boat Part Plus protect it’s customers and stores?

Boat Part Plus is not responsible for collecting funds for vendor sales, therefore store owners and customers will be bound to the security of PayPal when using Boat Part Plus as a sales channel. PayPal does offer, monitoring, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, purchase protection, and secure technology.

In addition, each store is individually owned and operated, and buyers will be subject to the terms and conditions of each individual store.
